Chest Infections in Last 5 Years? (Asthma or COPD)
If you’ve had a chest infection in the last 5 years for your Asthma or COPD and used antibiotics or steroids to treat this, you could join our paid respiratory research studies and be compensated up to £3,000 for your time and expenses.
Chronic Kidney Disease – Up to 4 years
We require patients with Chronic Kidney Disease for a new study.
Participation in the study could last up to 4 years. This study will be approx. 22 visits to the unit during the first 2 years, then visits every 8 weeks for the rest of the treatment period and a 28 day follow up period.
Dermatology Studies
We are looking for volunteers with Eczema, Psoriasis, Atopic Dermatitis or Urticaria to take part in upcoming studies at the Medicines Evaluation Unit, Manchester.
General interest in research
We are looking for Healthy volunteers who don’t smoke or take any regular medications and also volunteers with the following conditions: (Asthma, COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), Cystic Fibrosis, Dermatitis/ Eczema, Graves’ Disease/ Overactive Thyroid, High Blood Pressure, Psoriasis and any other medical conditions)
